Dr. Shaymaa has been working with Shifa as a Specialist Cardiologist since November 2018. She has over 10 years experience with leading hospitals in Egypt and Bahrain.

After completing her MBBCH at Ain Shams University, she joined there as a cardiology resident for 2 years. in 2012 she joined the National heart institute (NHI) as a Specialist Cardiologist. Then she Completed MSc in cardiology in AinShamsn 2013. She Started MD in cardiology in 2016 from the Benha University, Al Qalyubiyah till 2020.

After her MD study, she moved to the kingdom of Bahrain where she worked with Al Kindi Hospital as a specialist cardiologist till 5th November 2018.

Dr. Shaymaa has attended and participated as speaker in many international conferences across the world. She has membership in many prestigious associations including Bahrain scientific committee, & cardiology club Bahrain. She has passed many certificate courses which includes ICDL, Echocardiography, Balloon mitral valvuloplasty, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, BLS, Adult TTE, 3D ECHO and Catherization invasive cardiology and so on.

There is many publications to her credits, which includes Assessment of right ventricular function by myocardial performance index in diabetics by MPI.
