What to Expect During Your Visit
Come as you are – with your questions, your concerns, and your full medical history if you have it. Our general medicine doctor will begin with a thorough consultation, listening carefully to understand your symptoms and how they are affecting your life. There is no such thing as a concern too minor to mention.
Based on your consultation, our doctor may carry out a physical examination and request blood tests, urine tests, an ECG, or imaging. Most investigations can be arranged conveniently within the hospital, and our team will follow up with you once results are available. Everything will be explained to you in language that is clear and easy to understand.
Before you leave, your doctor will agree a clear care plan with you – whether that means a prescription, lifestyle advice, a follow-up appointment, or a referral to one of our specialist teams. If you would like a family member present during your consultation, you are very welcome to bring them along.
