What to Expect During Your Visit
When you arrive at our Emergency Department, you will be seen immediately by a triage nurse. Triage is a quick, structured assessment to understand your symptoms and determine how urgently you need to be seen by a doctor. Patients with the most serious conditions are always seen first.
Once assessed, you will be directed to the appropriate area of our emergency department. Our doctor will examine you, order any necessary tests, and begin treatment as quickly as possible. We will explain what is happening at every stage – and if you do not understand something, please ask. Our multilingual team is here to help.
Depending on your condition, you may be discharged home with clear follow-up instructions, admitted to a ward for further care, or transferred to our ICU if closer monitoring is needed. A family member or carer is welcome to stay with you – because your support network matters to your recovery.
