Dr. Kumara Swamy Sullia

Dr. Kumara Swamy Sullia is a highly experienced Specialist Radiologist with 35 years of medical practice. He earned his MBBS from Karnataka Medical College, Hubli, and completed his post-graduate specializations – Diploma in Medical Radio-Diagnosis (DMRD) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Radiology – at Mysore Medical College in India.

Dr. Kumara Swamy has been a key member of the Shifa Al Jazeera team since June 2004. Before moving to Bahrain, he worked with the Badaruddin Medical Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and at Moulana Hospital in Kerala, India. He is a life member of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA).

He has a special interest in ultrasonography, particularly for checking the urinary system to detect stones and kidney issues. He is also well-versed in performing detailed prenatal ultrasound scans for pregnant women and Doppler studies to assess arterial and venous blood flow.
