Dr. Salman Ali Hassan Ghareeb

Dr. Salman Ali Ghareeb is a senior Consultant Family Physician with more than 45 years of service in Bahrain’s healthcare sector. He completed his medical studies at Leningrad Medical School in Russia. Later, he earned his Board Certificate in Family Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Dr. Salman has a long history of serving the community. He started his career at Jedhafis Primary Health Centre and has worked in many government health centres and private hospitals, including Ibn Al Nafees and Al Amal Hospital. He has been the Medical Director at Shifa Al Jazeera since 2017.

In addition to patient care, he has held significant roles at the Ministry of Health and the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), where he managed medical licensing and regulations. He also has experience training future healthcare professionals.
