What to Expect During Your Visit
Your first visit will begin with a detailed consultation. Our specialist will ask about your symptoms, medical history, and how your hearing or speech difficulty is affecting your daily life. For children, we encourage parents and carers to attend and share their observations.
Depending on your needs, our team will carry out one or more assessments. These tests are non-invasive (they do not involve injections or surgery) and are designed to be comfortable for patients of all ages, including young children. Results will be explained to you clearly during the appointment.
Following your assessment, our specialist will discuss a care plan with you. This may include therapy sessions, hearing aid fitting, home exercises, or a referral to another specialist within our hospital. Your family is welcome to be involved in all discussions – because the right support at home makes a real difference.
